About the Designer: Federico Otero is an Industrial and Interactive Designer from Latin America. Otero started his career as a designer in his natal city of Lima in Peru, and then moved to the US to continue his studies at Purdue University.
After working for several years as a lead designer for Delta Faucet Company and as a freelance designer for Marcus Koepke’s Design Studio, he decided to further his education at Domus Academy in Milan earning his Masters.
His contributions to design include a wide spectrum that ranges from lighting, furniture, faucets, and luxury products.
His design talent took him to Switzerland where he was designing watches for Tag Heuer. Currently he is freelancing in diverse design areas.
Otero’s work has been recognized in the business realm academia and the press. His work has been featured internationally including Interni, Vogue, Metropolis, CNN and Interior Design.

Arthur chair. Continuing the REEVESdesign trad-modern vibe, Arthur rediscovers caning to form a low- slung lounge chair. The classic cabriole legs bring a traditional dynamic to this contemporary form, while the perforated solid oak frame is given a graphic detail with an exposed rattan weave, reminiscent of a strung tennis racket.

Louis side table. By splitting a turned leg into quarters, one round becomes 4 "corners". The hard-edged external lines juxtaposed with soft inner curves give the Louis range a contemporary baroque look. Each piece is both a statement in its own right and is able to fit in with the eclectic collections of furniture that make up so many homes. The seamless lacquered or veneered pieces give the impression of a cast or injection moulded process of production, which adds to the charm, and simplicity of the design.
