JSPR Retro Office

The Retro Office series is based on the idea of color blocking; to create different feelings by using contrasting colors. To engage with the ambience of the sixties and seventies the desks appear in a strong visual steel design. All tops are finished with a semi gloss powder coated lacquer. The frames are finished with a matte coated lacquer. Design: Philip Bogaerts & Jasper van Grootel. 
Colors: The Framework can be finished in 24 standard JSPR colors. The top and blocks can also be finished in 24 standard JSPR colors. Custom colors or high gloss finishes on request. Material: Metal framework MDF top, finished with a 2K PU finish in matte. MDF Top and blocks finished with a PU finish in semi gloss.

District Eight Design

District Eight Design is an office and workshop located in a refurbished colonial townhouse facing Saigon River. Founded in April 2010, the firm is one of the first in Vietnam to merge design and build. By combining the office and workshop, District Eight Design has the ability to rapidly prototype furniture and lighting while easily producing individual, custom pieces for each design project.
Although District Eight Design was originally created to preserve and develop historically significant buildings, warehouses, and objects in Ho Chi Minh City, the firm has rapidly expanded to include a production line of modern industrial furnishings that respond to these environments, both residential and commercial, both here and abroad.
